Welcome friends, we have a little update for you today! It’s a small challenge we put together, a teeny test if you will. You get it, it’s tiny. Welcome to the Xbox Game Pass for PC Grounded Tiny Build challenge.
In celebration of Grounded launching this week in Xbox Game Preview with Xbox Game Pass, we challenged notable PC rig builders from around the world to build the smallest Windows 10 PC possible to play Grounded – a survival adventure with a small twist. We gave the challengers $2,500 with the following rules: Their rigs must be tiny, must play Grounded with Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta), and must be recorded for us all to watch and vote on who made the best rig!
Let’s jump in on why these rigs are going to be so small. In Grounded, you have been shrunken to the size of an ant (or maybe smaller – have you seen those ants?). You need to explore, build, and outlast the arachnids Play single-player or co-op with friends as Max, Pete, Willow, or Hoops, and join the Grounded community!
Our challengers are already underway with their builds. You can follow along with them on their social channels now and see their videos as soon as they are live.
On August 3, follow along with Xbox’s YouTube channel to catch a playlist of all the PC builds, and on August 4 starting at 10:00 am PST, tune into Xbox Game Pass for PC Twitter, and we’ll post a big poll of tiny PC’s for the bragging rights of who built it best! Final round of the voting happens on August 5, and we’ll reveal the winner on August 6!
Until then, I’m going to go play Grounded, and hide from spiders in my backyard. If you want to check out Grounded and you haven’t tried Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) yet you can get your first month now for $1. Talk to you on Twitter August 4!
